Rifle Colorado area Monday 10.18.21

We woke up at the winery to a beautiful sunrise in Palisade Colorado. Decided to head out, and quickly got to the Rifle Colorado area. It was way too early to go to our Campground at KOA which is 15 minutes away in Silt Colorado, so Martha located a hike in Rifle which sounded nice. We found it and parked at a Mormon church parking lot. The hike was very nice and a welcome stretch, about 1.5 miles. The trees are so beautiful here right now. We then found a gorgeous state park called Rifle Falls state park it was AWESOME! The waterfall was really cool as you can see. 

Afterwards, we headed over to our campsite. But before we left there Martha rustled up an amazing lunch consisting of Russ’ favorite, a BLT!  And the campsite is FABULOUS! Right on the "little River" which feeds into the Colorado.
