Drive from Palisade Colorado to Denver 10.20.21 Last Day in the RV

So we got up to an icy morning in Palisade. There was a heavy frost on the grass and everything else. We had a super cold night in the RV. The heater system had died yesterday and we couldn\"t get it to work. Martha got up early in the am and tried it and THANKFULLY we got some heat going. We had breakfast and headed out to Denver. Saw some more beautiful mountains along the way. Snow-capped beautiful mountains. It was an elevation of near 11,000 feet as we passed Aspen/Breckenridge area. Finally we made it to the Denver area and out past the airport to our camp for the last night in the RV.

This little deer was eyeing our camp. He was a  little too nervous to join us and moved onto his regular spot for the night.

A beautiful sunset tonight

Cheers to a good day on the road. America is such a great, and amazing country wouldn\"t you agree!

Near Vail Colorado

Up, Up we go elevation near 10,000 feet

The RV has performed well on this 6 week trip. We named it "Moby Dick" as it is so big and heavy. But the big V-10 motor carried us over 6,000 miles without a hitch. This has been so amazing to see our Country out west and take in all these incredible sights. Everyone should get out here at least once. This is definitely not my last trip out here. Happy Trails!
