Day 2 we got up early and went to the South rim again for sunrise. It was spectacular, we saw so many beautiful sights at this amazing place. After a while we went to the RV and had breakfast there in the parking lot. I took a nap while Martha went on a hike around the rim. Then we got ready for the helicopter trip over the Canyon! Martha treated me for my birthday which is this Saturday October 9th THANK YOU MARTHA! The helicopter ride was just the bomb! We saw the canyon from a view which is just not possible from the normal viewing spots. Sooooo fantastic. Afterwards, we setup in Mather campground and chilled for the evening. What a great day!
