Glacier NP and Lot's of RAIN! 9.18-19.21

We were disappointed to have a rainy day at Glacier NP.  But we saw what we could see at Lake McDonald Lodge, and the drive up there was breathtaking. Much of the park was closed due to the weather, we decided to continue on towards Washington State. We passed through Idaho (which was surprisingly beautiful) and decided to stop at a  nice little RV park in a small town called Naples. Dinner is being prepared now, and we're hunkered down for a damp night in the RV. LOVE IT!~

The interior of this beautiful lodge is very rustic
Lake McDonald Lodge represents the indigenous peoples

Totem poles are a traditional way of telling the stories of First Nation families and clans, and of keeping records of important historical events. ... The stories that totem poles tell may be a myth, a legend, or honour Indigenous peoples through symbols. The crests on a totem pole belong to a family and tell its story
