We checked in the Campground last evening and got an ominous warning from the camp manager. He said that i5 was possibly closing due to the "Fawn" fire near lake Shasta. So we spent some time planning our exit (escape) down through California. We definitely do not want to be involved in that situation! So we are up now and closing up the RV and getting ready to head South. YIKES!
